Additional qualifications for teachers and educators

The realization of the special pedagogical imprinting of Rosing School requires special competences of those teachers responsible for the individual advancement and the conveyance of the contents of the three pillars. To build up these competences a programme of advanced training is mandatory for all teachers and educators.  

The individual promotion of all students not only refers at the promotion of potentials and individual strengths but also at possible difficulties in the cognitive, emotional and social area. Therefore, an additional educator is available during key hours that are primarily responsible for the intense mentoring of students with difficulties with learning and manners.

These days’ man-children suffer from learning barriers, difficulties with attention, concentration and mannerism like ADS and ADHS. Handling this matter requires that teachers and educators are also being trained psychologically. The recognition of psychological problems and handling these problems requires special knowledge, which many teachers of Rosing School acquire through additional education. Additionally Rosing School cooperates with various therapists who – in accord with the parents – check the students concerning need for support, options for support and therapies.

The methods of learning and teaching for the optimization of learning ability and the improvement of self-competence as well as the conveyance of contents of practical psychology reflect additional professional competences, which are part of the advanced training for teachers. Therefore, seminars are held which include Suggestopädie learning methods for the playful improved performance of the brain as well as emotional and social intelligence.

This combination of individual learning, psychological trained teachers, additional pedagogical support during classes, close cooperation with therapists and the additional contents of the „pillar-education“ guarantees that students are being encouraged and supported to develop into conscious charakters.

Teacher-evaluation

The feedback of students is an integral part of classes. Classes are not only a matter of teachers since success and failure are common products. Therefore, self-perception and how others perceive you should be aligned. This is good for the teachers. They receive hints of how they execute their classes and acceptance or signals for correction. This is good for the students. They are taken seriously as learners and „co-designers“ and take part at the development of criteria for a good class – which is good for the teachers.
